Pakistan has expressed its condolences on the death of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi in a helicopter accident to various countries around the world, while announcing five days of mourning in the test leader country of Iran.
Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, China, Qatar, India, Russia, Syria, Turkey, Spain, Lebanon and the European Union expressed their grief over the death of the Iranian president.
On the other hand, Iran's Armed Forces Search Off Staff Mohammad Bagheri ordered an investigation into the helicopter crash.
AFP quoted Iranian news agency Asna as saying that Mohammad Baqeri on Monday "ordered a high-level committee to begin investigating the accident complaint filed by the president's helicopter."
According to Iran's news agency IRNA, the funeral of the president and his colleagues who died in the helicopter crash will be held in Tabriz on Tuesday.
According to IRNA, the funeral prayers of the president and his colleagues will be offered in Tabriz on Tuesday morning at nine o'clock local time, after which Ibrahim Raisi's body will be taken to Tehran.
Five development mourning announced in Iran
According to the news agency AFP, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei announced the fifth development in the country on Monday in memory of President Ibrahim, who died in a helicopter crash.
Middle East Azerbaijan after Raisi and other services in the accident in the region said that on the day of death, an official statement said, "I declare five development public mourning and express my condolences on behalf of the dear people of Iran."
According to news agency Reuters, Vice President Muhammad Mokhbar was also given the seat to be appointed as the interim head of the country branch. Iran has now given a maximum period of 50 days for elections to choose Raisi's successor.
Expression of the international community
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has called him a "true friend of Russia" while declaring three mournings in Lebanon.
Chinese President Xi Jinping called the death of the Iranian president a great loss for the Iranian people.
The party group Hamas expressed regret over the death of the direct leader, saying that Saraha has support for his resistance, while the Lebanese group Hezbollah condoled the death of the direct leader of Iran.
Death of Iranian president: Pakistan declares day of mourning
On the death of the Iranian president, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wrote on X that: "Less than a month ago, Pakistan had the opportunity to host the historic visit of President Raisi and Foreign Minister Hussain Amir Abdullahian." He was a good friend of Pakistan.
He further wrote that "Pakistan will observe the Day of Mourning and fly the flag at half-mast as a sign of respect for President Raisi and his colleagues and as an expression of solidarity with our brotherly country Iran."
