Keris is a very beautiful and remarkable area. This area is settled at the confluence of River Indus and River Shouk. Kreis is the first village of Ga Nachhe district, this is the beginning of Ganche district. This area has had a historical status since ancient times. This green and lush area was the abode of the Sayeds. He also made this the center of religion propagation.

He was the center of knowledge and literature. The population here is currently more than 15000. If we talk about education, there is a government girls and a government boys high school in this area besides there are many private schools. But unfortunately, no government college has been established in this area. Almost every year about 500 male and female students pass their Matriculation from Goon and Kris Ko Mila. But the sad thing is that most of them say goodbye to their studies just because of that. Because there is no college in the vicinity of these people. It has been almost 4 years since the building of Government Girls College in Kress was built, but there is neither staff nor students there. The so-called political and social people of the area were not seen taking any action in this regard. What will be more cruel to the region is that the representative who won with the majority of votes from here is still the Minister of Education. And the majority of the populated areas have been deprived of the light of knowledge. Which is the failure and incompetence of the existing corrupt government.

This area is being treated like a step mother. The responsibility of this laziness is not only the elected representative of the constituency but also the political and social people of the area. Those who sacrifice the interest of the people and the region for personal interest. The college building is still waiting for students to come here and shape the future of themselves and their nation. The education minister had promised during the election days that regular classes would be started in Chris Girls College. But! It does not seem that the minister will keep his promise. Education Minister has more love for the region than the former Prime Minister. The education committee of the area is also not taking any special measures. At least she can start classes in the college by taking some advice from both the high schools. It is not that the college buildings were built for the children of giants coming to Gilgit-Baltistan. If so, a hostel should also be arranged for them so that they do not wander in the mountains of District Nagar, Gilgit and Diamer.
