It is the night for all deeds to be presented in the presence of God and the calculation of the life and sustenance that will be received in the coming year. If it is the fifteenth night, then stay up at night and fast during the day, because from the time of sunset, the mercy of Allah descends on the sky and the world, and Allah says, "There is one who asks for forgiveness that I may forgive him." Give, there is someone asking for sustenance that I may give him sustenance, someone in distress that I may relieve him of his distress, this announcement continues till dawn.
Organizing night vigil

It is recommended, this action of the Holy Prophet is also proven by the hadiths that he visited the graveyard to pray for the forgiveness of the Muslims on the night of Barat. Therefore, it is Sunnah to go to the graveyard on this night, visit the graves of your loved ones and recite Fatiha there.
